Registration is officially open for the free PubMed for Trainers course offered by the National Library of Medicine Training Center (NTC). This course will take place online for 3 weeks and culminate in a day long in-person session hosted at Grand Canyon University.
As described in the course’s promotional material, “this hands-on course consists of 9 presentations created by the National Library of Medicine, live demonstrations, hands-on exercises, group work and discussions, and networking opportunities over the course of four sessions. You can expect an additional 2-3 hours of independent homework. Upon completion of the class, participants receive 15 hours of MLA CE credit.”

- Monday, January 12, 2015, 10 am – 12 noon PT (online via Adobe Connect)
- Thursday, January 15, 2015, 10 am – 12 noon PT (online via Adobe Connect)
- Thursday, January 22, 2015, 10 am – 12 noon PT (online via Adobe Connect)
- Thursday, January 29, 2015, 9 am -4:30 pm PT (in-person at Grand Canyon University, Phoenix AZ)
If you teach others PubMed in an instructional setting, group setting, or in one on one sessions this is the course for you. The course doesn’t take place until January 2015 but if you have an interest I encourage you to register and reserve your spot!
